Glad I found a really big picture for this one because there's not too much to say on this vehicle. I was surprised I got 4 paragraphs out of it.

Rules-wise, churning it out from an expensive flyer down to a tangible thing like a Voidraven or Valkyrie is difficult. I cut down on the BS and 2 attacks from the Phoenix Missile Launchers and removed the Titan Holo-field.

I had a really hard time justifying one of these. But after looking at the Corsairs, I guess I can be satisfied.

Much like the Falcon, there's a great deal of potential but without Guide it's not going to perform up to it's full point cost very quickly. I actually bothered testing this one. Plus since the Eldar don't have anything like beacons, Deep Striking is just as risky as anyone else.

== POINTS AND OPTIONS ==
Unit: 1 Phoenix
Cost: 165 points

The Phoenix may upgrade both Reaper Launchers to:
- Plasma Missile Launchers: +25 points
- Bright Lances: +40 points
- Star Cannons: +30 points

May take any of the following:
- Holo-field: +30 points
- Spirit Stone: +20 points

I'll have the Eldar vehicle upgrades posted up next, tonight or tomorrow. Just know that it can basically move 12" in the shooting phase in any direction, or simply flat out up to 36" in the Movement Phase.

Interesting take on this vehicle. I like the balance.

Where is the pulse laser mounted? The model doesn't have one. It could be centreline coming out the nose.

I hear you about the Nightwing. I only use mine in Apocalypse games, to intercept enemy fliers.
